My Beauty Diary : MOTD.. Pretty Up

A great motivation for setting up a blog is for me to be able to share beauty products, articles, and reviews with the readers. Since I was young, staying pretty is a must and necessary. Maybe about 3 years ago, I got really serious about makeup. I will login youtube and watch all the youtubber reviewing a variety of beauty product. Knowledge and skill practice equates to competency. So I tried to re-create various looks and applying that I saw on the youtube. Well, you can call it self-taught really. It will be bragging if I say, I become really good at make-up. Definitely not the case yet. I needed professional help! However, I did gain knowledge of some really good products in the market that is worth sharing. There are expensive or really affordable ones to choose from in the market. (Too much in fact).

Anyway, I would like to begin my beauty category by sharing MOTD, Makeup Of The Day. There are a few products which are my must-have in my daily makeup. Not sure if you ladies have the same habit as me, sticking to the same product that works for years. Hmmm. Then why am I still buying so many different brands (struck my shoulder)?

PS: Just want to show-off my pink straw woven bag which I owned for years. Not to forget the vintage earrings I bought from BKK, Changchui. ( Artisan Night Market)

Sharing just a few products intro ( left to the right), please drop me a comment if you want a detailed review of any particular products.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder:

A collection of finishing powders that recreate the most flattering light. I usually used it as a loose powder after foundation. The shades I’m using is called Diffused. (A very popular shades). I was using Ethereal Light previously. This powder captures, diffuses and softens the look of skin making it look poreless. The results are shown better in the picture. ( Apply & take Selfies gals!)

Cons: Expensive $76 now at Sephora. It has increased price recently. 😦

Too-faced Peach Palette:

A limited edition of 18 shades of peachy pink, coral, bronze, and purple infused with that juicy peach scent. Yes, there is a subtle peach scent to it. Well, it didn’t really smell that ‘fresh’ thou. The color is amazing, with lovely peach colors and outstanding greens to complement with the overall look. The best part is, it gives really outstanding color pay off.

Sunkiller Perfect Water Essence SPF 50+ pa+++ +:

I cannot emphasize how important a sunblock is to our skin. See the how flat the tube looked. The texture for this is more of the creamy and tacky so that you will feel that it’s sticky at first apply. It will get better when you pat in longer for it to absorb. Once it’s done, you feel literally nothing. My top favorite is the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel. Maybe I will write a separate review for it next time.

Cle de Peau Beaute Luminizing Face Enhancer:

How can we girls not attracted to this packaging, it’s literally made for a princess! It’s actually a highlighter that helps to define the features on your face that you would like it to stand out in the presence of light. A highlight is usually applied to the forehead, nose bridge, cheekbones, temples, and chin. I bought mine from Japan. The cons: Expensive, The Pros: It really show a beautiful sheen under lights. A gentle swipe with a light brush will do the job. Anything more will make you shine like a spotlight. Well if that’s the result you need, it is also fine. Clé de Peau Beauté

Sofina PrimaVista ( Long Keep Base UV):

I Swear I wear this EVERYDAY. I call it my holy grail. I just ask my brother to stock it from Taiwan. This is a makeup primer which you need to put it on after your sunscreen before foundation. It helps to keep your makeup last longer for hours. It is sweat-proof, helps control excessive sebum on oily skin. This is not expensive. http://web.sofina.com/sg/primavista/products/
